Butler Investigations provides professional private investigation and intelligence services subject to applicable federal, state, and international laws and regulations. All engagements are governed by individual service agreements.

We maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client matters. When an attorney retains us as part of their representation of a client, our work may fall within that attorney’s work-product protection. Attorney-client privilege belongs to the attorney-client relationship itself — whether it applies is determined by your counsel and by applicable law, not by us, and we do not claim to extend it. If you retain us directly rather than through an attorney, privilege does not attach, though we still treat your matter as confidential as a matter of professional obligation.

Our liability is limited as outlined in our individual service agreements. We do not guarantee specific outcomes of any investigation.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Genesee County, Michigan, unless otherwise agreed in your service agreement.
